  • After several previous presentations and workshops that I had delivered at the Slovak Traslation Section of the General Directorate for Translation of the European Commisssion in Luxembourg, I have been invited to deliver in June 2024 a presentation and workshop on the theme Contrastive Linguistics and Its Relevance for the Slovak Translators in European institutions. The presentation iwill take place in Luxemburg.
  • On the basis of my Abstract having been accepted, and as member of the European Association for the Studeis of English (ESSE), I have been invited to present my research at the ESSE Conference that will take place in August 2024 in Lausanne in Switzerland.
  • For two election periods I was member of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University.
  • In the years 2016-2020 I was member of the Scientific Board of the Ľ.Š. Linguistic Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences
  • In the years 2015-2019 I was member of the Scientific Board of the. Faculty of Arts of P.J. Šafárik University in Košice.
  • A number of times, in Slovakia and abroad, I was reviewer of doctoral and dissertation theses and member of habilitaton committees.
  • At UK I was regularly head of the Final Examination Committee.
  • For several years I acted as vice-head of the Department of British and American Studies of Faculty of Arts of Comenius University.

  • I was the reviewer of the book by B. Petrášová: Phonetics and Phonology. Segmental Aspects (UCM, 2023)
  • As authorised by the Head of the Department of British and American Studies of the Faculty of Arts of UCM, I participate in assessing and reviewing the annotations proposed for the final theses.
  • I have initiated and as editor-in-chief I have been working on preparing the 1st volume of Acta Anglica Tyrnaviensia - an international Anglicist pečiodical of the Department of British and American Studies of the Faculty of Arts of UCM that will be published in May 2024. I have also started to organize the preparation of the 2nd volume of the periodical.
  • I was peer-reviewer of several papers submitted for the periodical Acta Anglica Tyrnaviensia.
  • I currently participate in numerous academic and specialized lectures, seminars and workshops organized by UCM, as well as by other academic and translation institutions and organizations.
