Vega 1/0099/22 Dynamics and Forms of Contemporary Narrative Folklore (2022 - 2025), principal investigator.

The aim of the submitted project is a systematic study and critical analysis of selected sources of contemporary Slovak folk literature in the time interval from the 19th century to the 21st century. The project will focus on research into updated forms of prose narrative folklore and the dynamics of its relationship to contemporary Slovak pop culture. With its focus, the project will attempt to expand existing research in the field of contemporary storytelling, focusing on linguistic and stylistic processing, literary interpretation of poetic qualities and features of selected narrative genres, while emphasizing the distribution of narrative genres in the digital space of the Internet, which is gradually becoming the dominant environment of social interactions. Narrative expressions of the pre-digital era and their influence on contemporary narrative folklore will also be taken into account. This project plan envisages an interdisciplinary knowledge base that connects, in particular, the methodology of literary studies, linguistics, folkloristics and ethnolinguistics.

APVV-17-0026 Thematological interpretation, analysis and systematization of archinarratives as semiotic models of the lifeworld and existential strategies (2018 - 2022), co-investigator.

The partial goal of the project is to enhance the existential-semiotic dimension of the interpretation of archinarratives at the interpretative level by identifying their invariant, archetypal-anthropological structures. The material basis here will be transcontinental (European, Asian and African) versions of classical narratives (myths, epics, fables, legends, fairy tales, alchemical texts, etc.). The main, framework and therefore continuously fulfilled goal of the project is to develop a thematological dictionary, which, on the one hand, organizes the obtained research knowledge in a paradigmatic order and, on the other hand, systematically develops and supplements existing findings.

Innovation and optimization of educational tools and means of teaching Slovak outside the territory of Slovakia (Erasmus+ 2021-1-SK01-KA220-HED-000032157), (2021 - 2025), co-investigator.

The project is based on partnership cooperation between three higher education institutions - Faculty of Arts, UCM in Trnava, Faculty of Arts, University of Novi Sad (Serbia) and Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). Its goal is to make higher education teaching of Slovak outside the territory of Slovakia more efficient in the environment of partner universities, where there is an indispensable need for contact with naturally developing Slovak, which covers all functional areas. In the project, we plan to explore the possibilities of an optimal functional model of higher education teaching of Slovak outside the territory of Slovakia and to create didactic materials that can be beneficial in teaching.

APVV-22-0221Manipulative representations in times of crisis: Language strategies of conspiracy theories and alternative truths in the German and Slovak language areas (2022 - 2026), co-investigator.The main goal of the project is to compile a valid and representative corpus of texts of various types. It is necessary to take into account the fact that classical media, especially in the print area, play a significantly less important role in the dissemination of conspiracy theories and alternative truths. Therefore, the compilation of the corpus will be limited to electronic media (primarily texts from websites, electronic forums, social networks [especially Facebook]). For pragmatic reasons, when compiling the corpus, we will focus on written texts from 2022. The selection of sources will initially be based on which sites on the Internet and in social media have so far been identified by national security authorities (e.g. in reports on the protection of constitutionality) as typical forums for conspiracy theories and the dissemination of alternative facts, such as the Slovak sites "Hlavné správy", "Armádny magazín", "Hlavný denník" and "Infovojna".

VEGA 1/0211/24 Cultural-cognitive context of corporeality in language and scientific project (2024 - 2026), co-investigator.

The project deals with cognitive-linguistic and ethnolinguistic analysis of cultural reference frames of specific concepts and is based on the methodology of ethnolinguistics and the study of cognitive metaphor.
