Annotation: The project is based on partnership cooperation between three higher education institutions - Faculty of Arts of the University of Moravian-Silesian University in Trnava, Faculty of Arts of the University of Novi Sad (Serbia) and Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). The aim of the project is to make higher education teaching of Slovak outside the territory of Slovakia more effective in the environment of partner universities, where there is a need for contact with naturally developing Slovak, which covers all functional areas. The project builds on the research already carried out at the Faculty of Arts, UCM in Trnava and its results in the field of teaching Slovak in the environment of national minorities living in Slovakia. The process of generating an optimal functional model of university teaching of Slovak outside the territory of Slovakia, the materials that will be created during the project will be mutually beneficial and can also be implemented in teaching Slovak to foreigners coming to study at UCM in Trnava.

Project name: Slovak Sermon Writing in the 19th Century

Annotation: Brief description of the project: Slovakian sermon writing is a part of spiritual culture, therefore the subject of the project is to analyze the linguistic, literary and cultural aspects of sermons written and published in the 19th century. It is thus possible to explore the authentic spring space in which Slovaks were formed, not only spiritually, but also morally, culturally, and patriotically. There is ample space for research into this source writing: printed literature and manuscript remains of clergy, which are stored in state and private (church) archives. Annotation: Brief description of the project: Education using lexicology into an electronic form and creation of an interactive medium with a methodical manual Brief description of the project: Education using a multimedia the curriculum applies naturalness, clarity and functionality in the teaching process, therefore the project aims to integrate the electronic form of the lexicology curriculum into the preparation of future teachers of the Slovak language and literature. The main task of the project is to innovate the training of future Slovak teachers by creating a corpus of didactically transformed lexicology curriculum elements in electronic form with the support of the applied informatics department. Part of the portfolio of tasks in the form of an interactive medium will also be a methodical manual referring to procedures helping teachers in the implementation of electronic didactic material for teaching the lexicology of the Slovak language for teaching in university undergraduate teacher education. Type of participation: responsible researcher/leader of the research team.

Project name: Logophobia as an Obstacle to the Development of Language Competence in the Acquisition of the Mother and Foreign Languages

Annotation: ​​Brief description of the project: The acquisition of a foreign language is a necessity that the current era requires. Psycholinguistics deals with the relationship and dependence between language and linguistic consciousness, but in the form and in connection with anxiety, this phenomenon becomes the subject of interest of several fields, as it combines the view of learning the mother tongue, the acquisition of a foreign language - English, the personality of the child and the teacher, which language conveys to him. Parents, and later teachers at school, play an active role in language acquisition. It has been proven that the learning process stimulates certain specific areas in the brain, as well as developing the skills and competencies of the child's personality. However, if the child becomes blocked during development, or the level of anxiety in connection with speaking increases, he may develop neurosis or even logophobia. Our intention is to reveal the sources and causes of its formation as well as the tools for its elimination. Type of participation in the project: member of the research team.

Project name: Comparison of Language Strategies of Right-Wing Populism (Germany - Austria - Czech Republic - Slovakia): Lexicon - Texts - Discourses

Annotation: Brief description of the project: The project is devoted to comparing the language specifics and language strategies of right-wing populists in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany. On the basis of the collected corpus material in the public media sphere, a typical symptom lexicon was identified in the next step. Based on the analysis of texts and characteristic discourses, the thematic and argumentative strategies of right-wing populist statements and speeches were subsequently examined more closely. The given research steps were first carried out differently for the individual countries under investigation and the results were subsequently compared, which made it possible to specify the similarities and differences between the language strategies of right-wing populists in the four countries mentioned. Thanks to the interdisciplinary approach, the results of the analysis of language specifics were interpreted in the broader context of not only political and cultural interactions, but also psychosocial motives and relationships.
