IX. - Other relevant facts

IX.a - If relevant, other activities related to higher education or research/artistic/other activities are mentioned

I direct my scientific activity within the framework of domestic and foreign collaborations on the training of presenters and editors for radio broadcasting and on the possibilities of radio broadcasting today. We regularly consult our results with the University of Malaya in Malaysia, where we exchange experiences together. In addition, we are also actively involved in the legislative regulation of radio broadcasting in terms of our involvement in the Slovak Radio Association. Organizationally, we help to organize the international Radio Rallye competition for student radio broadcasters.

In recent years we have improved the training of new presenters in preparation for broadcasting and are still developing new ways to train them. We are also currently implementing the operation of our own radio station Aetter on the frequency 107.2 FM for Trnava and the surrounding area. Within student broadcasting we are among the leaders in Slovakia and our students are preparing a full-fledged regional radio broadcast at a high level.

We also have good relations within radio broadcasting with Josif Strosmayer University in Croatia, where we have been several times to present our results within radio training.

Together with my colleagues we have also published a textbook on radio practice and I am preparing a monograph on student broadcasting in Slovakia. In addition, we are planning to extend our research on presenter training and prepare a monograph in English, as we have found that there is a great deal of interest in this knowledge from practitioners.
