Exploration of Media Related Risks and Opportunities for Deliberative Communication: Development Scenarios of the European Media Landscape". Acronym: MEDIADELCOM. Member of the research team. The project solves the problem of media communication, its opportunities and risks in selected countries of the European Union.
2 SVK: Project VEGA No. 1/0489/23 Innovative model of monetization of digital games in the creative industry, Principal Investigator. Annotation. The present research project is an extension of the scientific research in the digital games and creative industries sector, with an emphasis on exploring the possibilities of monetization of its production, distribution and use, as well as exploring the potential of digital games in the context of improving the human potential in the labour market. The research team reflects the emerging trends of digital transformation, robotization of industry and the emergence of artificial intelligence in production processes and services, i.e. the emergence of Industry 4.0. The creative industries in this sector have the potential to generate content for the part of society that will lose their jobs and will have to retrain and develop their creative skills. The intended outputs of the project are partial studies analysing individual key areas and published in database journals, as well as three monographs that systematically analyse the current situation in the field and at the same time offer possibilities for its solution.
3. SVK: Project APVV No. A/VV-21-0115, entitled Hypermodern Media Culture - Film, Television Production as Mirror of Sociocultural Phenomenaof the 21st Century, member of the research team. The aim of the project is the reflection and analysis of audiovisual production in film and television production and its reflection in sociocultural reality within the conditions of hypermodern, consumer society in the new millennium. The ambition of the research is to find out to what extent audiovisual production influences the everyday life of the audience, their opinions, values, attitudes towards basic existential and cultural issues. From this aspect, the research team conceptualizes the existing theoretical background of authors interested in all aspects of media production and its impact on socio-culture and everyday life, which can also include the strategies of perception of media content and messages, including production and media strategies of creators and producers of media production. The output of the project is scientific studies, monographs and textbooks, published in renowned national and international journals and publishers.
4. SVK: VEGA No. 1/0283/20 Synergy of Media Industry Sectors in the Context of Critical Political Media Economics (2020).Annotation.

The main objective of the project is to develop a body of theoretical and empirical knowledge that develop a critical political economy of the media and aim to delineate the actual commercial potential of the media industries, as well as a series of scholarly papers tied to individual media industries and their economic or commercial aspects. 5. European Regional Development Fund 30203 ACX 04 Creative Centre - Adaptation of UCM FMK premises for the purpose of creating a creative centre (FMK UCM, 2020-2025), The aim is to stimulate the need for sustainable employment by creating conditions for creative activities of individuals and creative teams. The project is primarily focused on the gaming industry in the digital games sector, to build the skills and capabilities of course participants to apply themselves in the most thriving sector within the creative and cultural industries. The project will focus on creating platforms for the acquisition of the necessary knowledge, skills and competences of the trainees so that they can enter the labour market.

Prof. PhDr. Hana Pravdová, PhD. in her pedagogical and scientific-research activity is devoted to the issues of mass, popular and media culture, games in the history of culture, cultural contexts of digital games, media production system, game and journalistic genres, as well as research methodology in the field of media and information studies. Her interest in the above areas of scholarly interest is related to her previous professional work in media and advertising agency. In her media practice she held several managerial positions in the television medium (Slovenská televízia) as head of the culture department, deputy editor-in-chief for journalism and editor-in-chief of the Main News and Journalism Department. In the print daily (Novy Den) -- she held the position of head of the internal politics department and editor-in-chief, in the advertising agency (Dovina) she worked as advertising manager and editor. Creative activity in the media results in a range of news and journalistic outputs (periodical press), documentary-journalistic programmes and films (scriptwriting, directing) or moderating journalistic programmes (television). Within the academic environment, she has worked at several universities and research institutes. As a result of her experience in practice and scientific-pedagogical activities, she has published a number of scientific articles in renowned scientific journals, university textbooks and textbooks, as well as scientific monographs.
