On April 16, 2013, B. Šramel was awarded the Karol Plank Prize by the Minister of Justice of the Slovak Republic. The Karol Plank Prize represents a form of public recognition for an author in the field of legal science for a body of work that brings new and thought-provoking perspectives on legal practice.
